Snail Mail Club

Snail Mail Club is exactly what it sounds like. A real life club where you receive mail from me! 
Think: postcards, poems, comics, stories, essays, videos, and more! 

At the moment a few projects I am working on/developing, include:

• Book art for Carolyn Nakagawa's Asahi: Japanese Canadian Baseball Heroes, forthcoming with Heritage House
  
• Fire Horse year (paper amulet, inspired by Chinese talismans) 
  
• Qingming altar (installation project for Qingming, a.k.a. Ancestors Day)
  
• Goodnight Minnie (a zine & paper animation project about my friend's chihuahua puppy named Minnie, inspired by Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown & illus. by Clement Hurd) 
  
• Photo Book workshop for youth, to take place in spring 2026
  
• Healing Justice workshop series with Nico (pilot series tbc) 
  
• Farewell (a paper project related to 1942 displacement) 
  
• Media project re: translingual poetics
  

I would love to develop the following, but currently do not have the time or $: 

• place-making writing workshop
  
• place-making bookmaking workshop
  
• community flower map & zine
  
• river collage across turtle island / community watershed map
  
• figure out what to do next with SIFTING, the visual book I wrote and drew (i.e. how to get the story to the people who need it)
