"we missed you" (work-in-progress)
An exquisite corpse artist book using
accordion bookbinding techniques. Pencil, paper, washi, lace, ink, collage, and other mixed-media.

This work features original drawings by Angela May of late elder Grace Eiko Thompson, Angela May, Erica Isomura, and Kathy Shimizu. The work incorporates relief prints by Meris Ngan Colby and Erica Isomura and an excerpt of perpetual by Rita Wong (Nightwood Editions, 2015).

Process notes: Angela mailed Erica her pencil drawings, which Erica bound into this book, then mailed to Kathy Shimizu.
